Sue Paterson

At 74, Sue Paterson is still proving that it’s never too late to chase a dream.

A nurse, author, and farmer, Sue lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, and an occasional llama. She began writing seriously in her mid-fifties and published her first book by the age of sixty. She now has four books to her name.

Through a lifetime of caring for people, animals, and the land, Sue has gathered a treasure trove of stories. Her writing blurs the line between the everyday and the extraordinary, where myth, magic, and wonder find their way into ordinary life.
