Coven (Alexandria)
$15.99
Being human is so overrated.
At least that’s what Alexandria Tennet has been telling herself since she found out that she’s not human. Then Lex meets her non-human biological family and realizes she’ll be spending the summer in a castle with the rest of her ancient and inhumanly strong relatives. It’s a pretty big change for a girl who spent the first fifteen years of her life as an adopted nobody in a tiny rural farm town. At least her twin brother is there to provide one small link to sanity.
Of course, spending a summer with her ancestral coven is more complicated than it seems. Lex has to navigate an intricate social caste, assassination attempts, and a whole slew of hyper-competitive cousins. Not to mention making new friends (more difficult than expected), paralyzingly attractive boys (and girls??), and a huge stack of shiny new books to read (okay, at least that last part is exciting).
But the hardest test won’t be on paper. An uprising threatens a five-hundred year treaty and Lex’s newfound friends and family. The only way to prevent catastrophe is with a quick mind and above-average capabilities. It’s a good thing Lex is a lot better than average.
