Coven (Alexander)

Being human kinda sucks.

Good thing Alexander Tennet just found out that he isn’t human. After fifteen years as an adopted nobody in a no-name town, he’s ready to leave that depressing existence behind. But when Alex meets his biological family, he finds out they’re all ancient, inhumanly strong, and vastly wealthy. He thought he was going to London for a meet-and-greet with the mom he never knew—suddenly he has his own room in a castle and can shoot fireballs with his mind? No way. At least his twin sister is there to help keep him sane.
Of course, spending a summer with his ancestral coven is more complicated than it seems. Alex has to contend with a bewildering social system, assassination attempts, and a whole mess of abilities he never knew he had. Not to mention summer school (gross), learning to ballroom dance (awkward), and the prettiest girl he’s ever met (okay, at least that last part is fun).

But the biggest struggle of the summer isn’t finding his place in the coven or coping with the biggest crush ever. An uprising threatens a five-hundred-year treaty, and Alex may find himself doing more than he ever expected to save his new home.
