B.P. Kelso is an engineer turned storyteller who traded patents and product development for murder mysteries, psychological thrillers, and the occasional demon-possessed baby blanket.
With more than 20 years in engineering and innovation, over a dozen patents, and a successful career writing children's plays performed around the world, Kelso eventually decided that making things up for a living was considerably more entertaining.
His debut thriller, The Night She Said Hatchet, was inspired by his experience caring for his mother through Alzheimer's. His follow-up, The Horror Writer's Nightmare, takes readers on a fast-paced, darkly humorous ride where fiction and nightmares collide.
When he's not writing unexpected twists, Kelso enjoys traveling, teaching, and spending time with his wife and three children.
His philosophy? Life's too short for boring stories.
